AUDRIANNA BROAD

TEACHER

Originally from Rochester, New York, Audrianna Broad is in her 10th Year as Founder & Acting President of The American Dance Competition, Inc (ADC|IBC). The non-profit venture was formalized in 2005, and has since become a leading International Youth Scholarship Ballet Competition, where youngsters turn for scholarship monies, recognition, name awareness, networking, and personal growth in their art. ADC has numerous success stories on the rise, with Alumni working their way through the ranks of professional ballet companies throughout the country, as well as commercial success stories of dancers who have gone on to win famed shows such as ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ or ‘America’s Got Talent’.  Under Ms. Broad’s Direction, ADC opened its doors to Brazil & China in 2012, as pre-selection Invitational Sites for the Annual Competition, paving the way for a greater ADC presence in other countries.

Ms. Broad, at age 16, was one of the youngest dancers ever hired in by the Orlando Ballet. Throughout her nearly decade long career with the company she has worked with some of the most celebrated dancers of the twentieth century including Fernando Bujones, considered by most, the Greatest American Male Dancer of Our Time, Melissa Hayden of NYCB, and Gelsey Kirkland to name a few. Audrianna has performed many soloist and principal roles in: Giselle, Don Quixote, Paquita, Nutcracker, Le Corsaire, Raymonda, and La Bayadere.  In the inaugural Youth America Grand Prix Ballet Competition, she received a Gold Medal along with highest overall score in contemporary dance. That same year, Audrianna was asked to join ABT II, the second (studio) company to American Ballet Theatre in NYC under John Meehan. In addition, Audrianna was a Miss USA Florida finalist, and hired by Microsoft to perform for their Largest Annual Industrial Expo. Ms. Broad has also been a frequent judge and master teacher for numerous dance competitions around the world.  Ms. Broad is an Honors Graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. There she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a Minor in Investments, finishing Magna Cum Laude & 2nd in her graduating class.

Audrianna credits her classical ballet training to: Orlando Ballet School (then Southern Ballet Theatre School under Alison Bundrick Johnson) , The Kirov Academy in Washington D.C. (under Yelena Vinogradova – primary Teacher Nicolai Morosov), The Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, FL (under Gordon Wright – Primary Teachers Victoria Rockhill-Schneider & Olivier Pardina).

Ms. Broad is pleased to be working with the students & faculty of Xtreme Dance Studio.
