Myles Thoroughgood has been creating movement for every medium and a variety of venues since his debut as choreographer for The Disney Channel. Many successful artists, including Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling, Keri Russel, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, shared their first series experience under  Myles’ direction.

 

Five seasons, over 300 production numbers and music videos later, Thoroughgood’s experience with young performers continues to reverberate in other top-rated television shows for Nickelodeon, TLC/Discovery Network and Sesame Workshop.

 

On stage, Thoroughgood has directed and choreographed shows such as CHICAGO and THE FULL MONTY and has added his distinctive choreographic style to more than thirty musicals, including CABARET, YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN, SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK, and THE DROWSY CHAPERONE. 

 

He has Show Directed and choreographed for Disney World and is awarded projects regularly for Nickelodeon, the most recent being ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ in Madrid and opening resorts worldwide.    He has worked at other theme parks including, Universal Studios, Great America, King’s Dominion, King’s Island, Carowinds, Canada’s Wonderland and Lotte World in Seoul. 

 

Dozens of corporate clients have utilized Myles’ expertise to give their commercials and conventions the focus, energy and entertainment value they deserve.  Thoroughgood choreographs for Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede and Pirates Voyage, and for four consecutive years choreographed Opening Ceremonies for the National Association of Home Builders, one of the largest conventions in the world. Thoroughgood is a Founder of the Dance Program for the Interact Academy of Performing Arts.
